Learning excellence is at the core of our vision at Gaelcholásite Charraig Uí Leighin. Our pupils’ engagement in their learning is supported by the most modern teaching styles and strategies, and through the use of the most innovative technologies. All pupils of Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí leighin have their own iPad, which they use daily to foster the skills required to become independent learners. Pupils of Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin will set out their own academic goals through Personal Academic Reviews, and participate in their Parent-Teacher meetings. Our clear focus on learning outcomes is informed by the key skills set out as part of the new Junior Cycle programme, and outlined below:
